started med school- IMU last Monday! I can finally call myself a med student *cheers* The first person in the family!

this 2 weeks is full orientation..like kao kao orientation. coming back at 12am type, getting wet, fishy smells, painted faces, flour and starch on hair type. I admit it is tough..but so fun at the same time. Weirdly. haha.

Got assigned to group 12 which I believe is the awesomest group with the most semangat- clearly shown when we screamed our lungs out and all of us kinda lost our voice abit. Also had a performance to do onstage! cheerlead + dance routine, something I've never done before, and had to do as a group in front of 400 students approx. scary times but our group 12 seniors were the best in offering support and cheering for us- as a result we finished in the top 6 placing!

Realisation

Talking to Gaya the other night made me realise something, I have 2 sides- which makes me very unpredictable.

For instance,

I love Chinese food, but I also love hot spicy food which makes me gulp down cups of water soon afterward.

I love dark colours like black, blood red and navy blue but I also love white and pale pink

I love mamak stall food bring on the teh tarik and roti canai any time, at the same time I totally love steak

I love watching action thrillers wthich involves a lot of killing, mass murders and loads of blood, at the same time I love romantic movies with lovey-dovey stuff and romantic lines.

I love watching gymnastics on tv and just be amazed by how they move but I also love soccer and how they run move and strategize on the field.

But I think Ryan puts everything in one sentence complete-
I love Chinese, Australian, American, Spanish, French, Indian, British guys. That indeed I am extremly unpredictable.

On the other side, working for parents is never easy- especially when you're not paid to draw all their  graphs, recheck their schedules, make breakfast and coffee early morning and edit their powerpoint presentations absolutely free of charge and book air asia flights for my aunts and mum's friends. Dad insists I get paid by me having to eat their cooking on weekdays and occasionally weekends.

Anyways, football mania has started again. Community Shield was an absolute dissapointment with Chelsea seeming so uninspired and leading to a very bad result- 3-1. Bet this season is going to be THE season to watch.. Will Man U regain their edge or will their young players prove their inexperience?
            Will Chelsea take the trophy for the second time in a row or have they totally lost it?
            Will Arsenal rise to the plate and send a shocker?
            Will Torres work the magic and will Liverpool succed?
            Will Man City's big million dollar multi spending spree reflect in the quality of their game?

Ah...football mania is soooooooooooo back!

Of renovations and family reunions

So, earlier this week, heard some weird nioses from the kitchen. *crak crak*. and suddenly out of nowhere, the kitchen tiles began to fall off the wall. Which was insanely weird and scary. About 20 pieces just fell... just like that and broke. So, we had to call the contractor and had 3 whole walls of kitchen tiles replaced. Apparently the condo developer didnt do it right the first time around, so we had to suffer the lazy developer's consequences, 10 years later. Just thank God nobody was hurt. Renovation went on for 3 long whole days with a whole lot of banging everywhere. And now the house is filled with dust.

Moving on to the happier things, my cousins finally made it to Malaysia and was pretty excited to see them. Had dinner buffet at the Hilton's PJ last Saturday. The food spread and choices were awesome! I award 5 stars- especially since they had a chocolate fountain and the ice kacang machine and ice cream with more then 8 topping and incredible satay. But tastewise wasnt all that yumyum. Overall, I credit 8 stars. Had a fun time laughing together and also another great deal of time being told that I am now so 'old' by my cousins. Seriously, is 19 too old??? Anyways, after all the makan makan and the talk and laugh, reached home at 1am and immediately fell flat on the bed.

Then, on Friday, was our Cousins Day Out (CDO) as the 3 of us headed to Mid Valley. Had awesome Japanese lunch! and then went the bellies were full, we went for a lil shopping then went bowling for a good 2 hours (my bowling is improving!) and watched Salt (which I give rating 8 stars. The ending was a lil confusing) and then headed over to Gardens for snacks and ice cream and a whole lot of eating in between. It's a relief to know someone can actually rival my hunger level- my darling cousin brother. Sat in borders, read all sorts of funny books, disturbed a sleeping old man and then headed home at 8pm. Was certainly one of the best days of my life. Eventually I bonded too much with my cousin bro which made my cousin sis jealous in the end.

Sent them packing and said a tearful goodbye as they headed back to Florida.

My cousin sis- Monisha. Who is mature way beyond her years and is a total shopaholic and chic lit books-aholic.

My cousin bro- Sujay. My partner in crime, comedian and the younger brother I always wished I had and my bestest friend in the whole world.

And now, back to normal life...
